Summer Dawn and the Evangelistic Explosion is a group of
young high-spirited energetic evangelists and music ministers who
through evangelistic work and travels met and were led by the Spirit
of God to bring the message of hope, encouragement and the
uplifting of the heart, mind and soul to many across this nation.
Summer Dawn and her brother Rusty have traveled in the
evangelistic field for 7 years , as they ministered with the Little
People's Children Ministry, reaching out to troubled youths through
the use of music, plays, and productions. While on the road they
were introduced to the Killmon Family and ministered along side
with them at National Youth Camps, General church Conferences
and Revivals. They have ministered from street meetings, to corner
halls to civic centers and have helped in promotions for cable. The
group is currently doing concerts throughout the United States and
have crusades upcoming in Mexico, and Philippines.
Summer Dawn has ministered in music across the country and is well received in churches
everywhere. The music she plays has a strong ministry of Praise and Worship dedicated to
bringing the good news of Jesus Christ in song with a unique style and an exciting presentation
through music and power packed skits. Summer Dawn can satisfy music lovers of all ages by her
combination of old traditional to her soul-stirring, upbeat sound. She has written and composed
all the songs that you will hear on this project, which have the qualities of inspiration and a true
message. The Band is composed of High energetic and versatile anointed ministers
impacting crowds, and reaching out to all generations.

Payne started her career in Calgary, Alberta as a singer/musician. In a short period of
time she received a number of accolades. While appearing in New York City she dazzled
reviewers of Variety magazine with her charismatic stage presence and energetic
performances.
The support continued. "Cheatin' Songs" was chosen as her debut single.
This single would win her a June nomination for Best New Artist.
Touring through Canada and the United States made for a hectic schedule not allowing Claudia enough time to focus on an unexplored talent: songwriting. Slowing down created heartfelt songs such as "A Place on the Reservation, " which was chosen as the second place winner in a CBC songwriting contest.
Writing also allowed Claudia to capture a first place win at the Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame songwriting contest. The song was "Heaven Must Have Sent You. "
The first single from Claudia's self titled debut album; "Baby Don 't You Love Me No More? " left the music industry wanting more. Even though the single was not released south of the border, Nashville based writer Robert K. Oermann gave the song an honourable mention in the trade magazine Music Row . The most pleasing part of this endorsement was being listed among major label artists such as, Randy Travis, Hal Ketchum, Michael Martin Murphy, and Clay Walker.
The Alberta Recording Industries Association nominated Claudia for SOCAN Song of the Year and SOCAN Songwriter of the Year for her two singles: "Let The Heartaches Begin " and "Baby Don 't You Love Me No More ? "
Recently Claudia formed a trio of vocal diva's known as the "Rocky Mountain Roses," a
Las Vegas style review which pays homage to the leading ladies of country music. This
allows her to indulge her passion for tight vocal harmonies and high energy shows.
Claudia's motto is,"Do what you love and love what you do." She believes you have to
live a little before you can write about it, and that a musical career is a work in progress.

My CD debut "Open Road" was released in January'98. It's all original music, mostly solo, although a few songs have additional instruments and harmonies. My style ranges from folk to rock to spoken word and anything between. Since I started publicly per- forming in 1993, I've had gigs in Minnesota, Montana, North Dakota, Wisconsin, Ohio, and England... entertaining audiences at coffee shops, bars and taverns, bookstores, universities and col- leges, private parties, music festivals, and special events.
