In The Eye Of The Storm released in 1988 on Edge of Wonder Records is Jennifer Berezan's first album.
Six of the Ten songs are originals written by Jennifer. This first work defines and introduces us to the
political and spiritual makeup of the artist. Wake Up, aptly selected as the first cut sets the ambiance and
reflects the wakening of the woman and artist inside. Her musical style as well as her subject matter is
diverse, and reflects the broad talent, passion, and concerns of this artist. The addition of
Nina Gerber on acoustic guitar and a cadre of other fine musicians adds depth and flavor to this
rich musical creation. Kitchen Revolution has a wonderful raggae tempo and may give a hint
not only to Jennifer's role musically and spiritually in the future, but that of the many talented
woman artists that are no longer content with the status quo. Just as Wake Up is an appropriate opening
song, Kitchen Revolution is a fine song to end this very nice work.
