Martha DeWolfe That Flame Keeps Burning

This is Martha's first album and features 2 original songs, "The Woman Wearing The Badge" and " The Cat Makes Three". Four songs are creations from the talented Phil York, who is also the producer. In addition Martha does a marvelous job interpreting Allen Green on two songs, one being the title song "That flame Keeps Burning". Willie Nelson would have to be pleased at Martha's version of "Lazy (Crazy). You can just feel the effervescence of Patsy Cline permeate this fine effort. Martha has the vocal qualities to place her very well in the realm of female country singers, with a distinctive silky voice, and just a hint of country twang for authenticity. Martha is among the new breed of female singer/songwriters crossing other boundaries to put real feelings into their work.
